Bubble Cream

Bit of history

Background

The heart of every Bubble Cream cone is a delicious egg waffle, also known as "eggettes" or "gai dan zai" (in Cantonese). According to urban hearsay, the bubble shaped waffle was born in Hong Kong in the 1950s, when a grocery store worker received a poorly packaged shipment of eggs. Instead of throwing the eggs away, the workers had an idea of creating a new and unique snack. The golden-yellow coloured waffle is baked with a crispy shell exterior and a fluffy egg base inside.

Bubble Cream has coupled this iconic Hong Kong street snack with delicious ice cream, fruits, and a variety of toppings to sweeten up your day!
